The Human-Centred Lab

Our work is collaborative and human-centred. We’re all about trying new things, and building new partnerships. So, we invite community members into our work, as they are the experts of their own experiences, and they have tons of value and ideas to offer.

We ask questions like:

  • Who are the community members we need to hear from the most?

  • How are different perspectives weighted?

  • Who is centred in this work?

Collaboration only moves at the speed of trust. In neighbourhoods that have historically experienced significant tensions, it is important to acknowledge the conflicts and work through them together. Fostering trusting relationships takes time, and we’re still working on it.
